Weekly art classes provide experiences for students to engage creative and critical thinking skills in a risk-free envirnoment. Artistic skills are developed as students explore various mediums and complete projects. These projects are designed to encourage creativity while at the same time take into consideration students' interests and developmental skills. Artistic literacy is encouraged through discussion and exposure to works by famous and influential artists as well as by contemporary and lesser known artists. Student art is exhibited throughtout the school all year, during theatrical performances (set & costume design) and at an end of the year Art Show.
