A wooden sign that says counselor is in please knock

Our counselor, Mrs. Paula Neff, is a part of the BLesT  (Building Level Support Team) at Saint Luke School. Mrs. Neff holds a Bachelor's Degree of Social Work, a Master's in Counseling and Dual Certification in Elementary and Secondary Counseling.

Mrs. Neff is at SLS every day (Monday- Friday) during school hours each week. She can guide students and families, referring to community resources based on need.  She also acts as a consultant and support to the principal, teachers and the BLeST team.

Mrs. Neff provides education in all classes, preschool through eighth grade, on various topics. These topics may include bullying, friendships, anxiety, conflict resolution, self-esteem, abstinence and internet safety. The curriculum and topics are based on Social Emotional Learning and on identified needs.

Saint Luke School values the expertise of a Guidance Counselor so that the complexities of academic, social, emotional and family issues are addressed in a timely fashion with the insights of a professional.
